Dear Community Members:
We have received the results of this week’s levy election. While we hoped for a different outcome, the results indicate a need for further conversation and collaboration with the community.
In Washington State, we are allowed to run the levy two times per calendar year. On Tuesday, February 17th at 6:30pm the School Board will be holding a community meeting to discuss how the district should proceed. The district can run the levy again on April 28th or August 4th. In order to run another levy in April, the district has to file with the county by February 27th.
Please consider completing the anonymous survey at the link below to help district leadership understand the reasons why voters did not approve the levy and also to help us identify budget priorities moving forward.
