We would like to celebrate two incredible educators whose impact on the Darrington School District will be felt for generations to come.

Ray Franke and Laura Goheen have given their hearts, time, patience, and wisdom to the students and families of this community. Through every lesson taught, every encouraging word, every long day, and every moment spent believing in kids, they helped shape not only classrooms, but lives.

Retirement is not just the closing of a chapter. It is the celebration of a legacy. The kindness, laughter, dedication, and care Ray and Laura brought to their schools created a place where students felt supported, valued, and inspired to grow.

Thank you both for the countless ways you made Darrington a better place. Your influence will continue far beyond the classroom walls, living on in the memories and successes of the students, coworkers, and families you touched along the way.
