Our school, grades 6-12, will participate in the Healthy Youth Survey on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Youth in school districts across Washington State have been taking this survey since 2002. Community agencies use survey results to inform policies and programs designed to support youth-well-being. Please read the attached flier for more detailed information.
Your youth’s participation is appreciated! Please share this information with your youth then talk about the survey and decide if your youth will participate. If you choose to opt your youth out, please contact the office.

Our DHS FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) members had an incredible experience on their recent field trip to the King Arthur Baking School! Students didn’t just learn the science of baking pizza—they earned this opportunity by actively participating in leadership development and community-building projects throughout the year.
This trip is a great example of how strong Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs empower students with real-world skills, confidence, and connections that benefit both them and our broader community. Whether it’s in the kitchen, the classroom, or beyond, our students are rising to the occasion! Thank you for supporting our schools and our CTE programs!
