Pandemic EBT for Washington Families
A new Pandemic EBT program is available in early July for children that are eligible for free and reduced lunch. Free/reduced lunch applications are available at the following link: https://www.darringtonschools.org/free-and-reduced-meals-application
Applications can be turned in to Haley Ozmun at Darrington Elementary School daily from 9:00-11:30 until June 30, 2020. Please call 360-436-1313 for more information.
School Board Meeting
In accordance with Gov. Inslee’s Stay Home, Stay Healthy proclamation, along with guidance from the Washington State Attorney General, Darrington School Board will hold the regular school board meeting via Zoom on Tuesday, June 23, at 6:30 PM . Lunch Service Update
Wednesday Darrington School District food service and transportation staff distributed 60 boxes of food to families in need. Each box had over 25 pounds of meat, vegetables, and more. The boxes were provided through the USDA Coronavirus Federal Assistance Program. A special thank you to Elemental Cider in Arlington for distributing and warehousing these items, Darrington alum Carla Gastineau for bringing the program to the Stilly Valley, and to DSD staff for your work getting these boxes out to families in need.
