With winter right around the corner, now is a good time to review our snow closure/late start protocol:
1) Decision is based on current weather and condition of local roads.
2) Every effort made to make decision before 6 AM.
3) Closure/late start info can be found on Facebook, Twitter, Flash Alert, local TV, and by email/web site. Note that extreme conditions may limit some forms of media.
4) District will communicate change in schedule only. In absence of notification, please assume school is on-time. Call 436-1313 (DES) & 436-1140 (DHS) for more closure info.
